Kendrick Lamar has been branded an “idiot” by Lindsay Lohan’s dad, after he reacted angrily to the rapper mocking his daughter in the track ‘Control (HOF)’.

The song, a collaboration with Big Sean which was dropped from his album ‘Hall Of Fame’ but released online yesterday (August 13), has become notable for its lyrics, which see Lamar calling out hip hop competitors such as Drake and A$AP Rocky.

However, Lamar also references Lohan in his verse on the song, stating: “Mollies’ll prolly turn these niggas to fuckin’ Lindsay Lohan/ A bunch of rich ass white girls lookin’ for parties/ Playin with Barbies, wreck the Porsche before you give ‘em the car key.”

The actress’s father, Michael, was not impressed with Lamar using his daughter as a punchline in the song and told Radar Online: “Who cares? He’s an idiot. [He's] senseless. What can you say to a moron?

“I don’t know who this guy is,” he added. “I’ve never heard of him. That says enough about what his opinion is.”

Lohan recently finished a 90-day stint at a facility in Malibu. Her latest movie The Canyons, a film noir with a script penned by American Psycho author Bret Easton Ellis, opened in limited US cinemas earlier this month (August 2) to largely negative reviews. A UK release date has yet to be confirmed.

Kendrick Lamar recently topped a poll of the Hottest MCs in the world, finishing above 2 Chainz, Kanye West and Rick Ross. The MTV list rewarded Lamar based on a combination of rhyme skill, flow, buzz, commercial success, business ventures, web presence, and cultural influence. Speaking about the accolade, he said: “It’s very important for hip-hop. I love that they have debates like that. We need that. It’s still competitive and I’m trying to compete with everybody to be the best.”

The rapper released his debut album ‘Good Kid, mAAd City’ towards the end of 2012.
